TOYS McCOY Steve McQueen Cut Off Sweatshirt - Faded Blue
Toys McCoys have masterfully recreated the iconic sweatshirt worn by Captain Virgil Hilts in the 1963 film ‘The Great Escape’. The faded sweat became a sartorial icon after the film for its simple design and rugged style, not to mention that it was modelled by the great man himself.
The standard fit sweat boasts a raglan sleeve which allows for a superior freedom of movement, and, ultimately, comfort. It has been cut from 100% cotton fleece which is soft and warm, and has been woven in a way which allows it to mould to your body as you wear it. Other authentic vintage include a cotton care label with name and size details. This time the sweatshirt details that the owner is Mr McQueen himself. A vintage cotton ‘The Real McQueen’ brand label adorns the inside of the neck which adds a touch of heritage authenticity.
